“pastiche“?

A pastiche is something such as a piece of writing or music in which the style is copied from somewhere else, or which contains a mixture of different styles.

I came in contact with the word pastiche in university but in the context of architecture. It felt like a fitting name for a NFT creator pseudonym.

In 2020ish I downloaded “Apophysis” an open source software for creating and editing fractal flames. I tried several different softwares that complemented each other. The flames where so beautiful.
Started to play around with the software and spent more time with it.

Later on I wanted lo learn how this NFT thing worked and how I could use the flames i had been creating in combination with NFTs.

That’s the short story about why I’m here. And why you are here I guess 😉

Concept?

I have been focusing on Ethereum and the diamond shape. Been trying out a few different forms.

I have also started a series with Bitcoin. When i started I had an idea that I wanted to have art on my walls that had to do with crypto but not necessarily it being so blatant. Trying to get forms and shapes that play well together and creates some kind of feeling. Of course it’s difficult to know what other see or feel. But I’m doing it from my perspective. Hopefully others out there will see something that makes them feel, relate or think 🙂

I have also been playing around with my “Vaettar and other creatures” series. It’s centered more around creatures that live in the forest or in the spirit realm. These are centered around the phenomenon of pareidolia. So here everyone will se very different things which also plays well with the creatures of the forrest. They don’t always want to be seen by humans. They make you see a stone, maybe a bush of just mist.

All this is evolving and has been a surprise for me that I like experimenting with all these shapes and forms. If anything it actually has been quite therapeutical.
